Hi, I had a really nice brown algae bloom in my tank and it took over the live rock. I decided to clean the live rock with an old tooth brush and i took off pretty much all the algae. I was wonder what effect this would have on the tank and on the live rock? Am I killing beneficial things on the live rock by scrubbing off the brown layer of algae?
