I know Ive asked alot about this, but Im getting ready to pull the trigger. Here is the list for my 75g with large sump...

German Red
Lemon Jake
Orange Collar
Red Top Lawanda
Reubescens
Venustus
Syndontis Petricola

I already have a Sunshine Peacock and a Red Kandango plus a syndontis. All though I never ever see the syndontis uless cleanin and moving rock....I may have to add more to properly overstock I suppose...

Just one fish of each species? I think you can have a few more fishes in that tank.

I believe your right stick with the one male specimen because if you add more of the same males the dominant male will def pick on the other, well your going to have dominant issues anyways but with one male from each they will put in place a pecking order..

You could add more males like 2 males of each species and it may work but feeding time will be your main issue..

Your doing this because you like the males colors right if so it should work or another interesting stock plan would be pick 1 male and 4 females from the peacocks and put in the venustus along with the syno's that should be a nice setup..

I was affraid of having several same markings addiding to aggression. Right or wrong???

Oh yes, you are right. One male of each different species is the correct thing to do for an all male peacock tank, as Pittbull also said. I was thinking in a few other males of other species with different markings or albino morphs if possible, or in some males of any Haps species that get along well with peacocks or in adding at least 3 Synodontis petricola, because they do better in small groups.
But your selection is great and you can stick with those peacocks and add a few Synos with them. It will look awesome! :thm:

I agree with efors as well if you want to stick a few more males of different species it could be possible as long as there are more targets in the tank so that just one fish isnt taking the brute aggression by itself..
