pretty typical.

I do find that the wild strains act much differently. especially in a heavily planted tank.. mine rarely come to greet me when I feed.. they do perk up and begin the 'hunt'

the wilds tend to stay among the tall plants.
 
Sounds totally normal for angels. ( my oscar can also wrestle the neighbor's cat)

I've found that once I started spending more non-food time interacting with my fish, they start to see me as more than a food provider. Its just classical conditioning since at one point, every time they saw you, they got food. My fish eventually recognized the food container as the primer to food time, opposed to me.
