 Aloha every one I am getting a 10 gallon tank and I have been doing my research and I was wondering if you guys think it would be okay to have,

1 Kribensis
4 Cherry Barbs
3 Corys

Let me know what you think.

:welcome: might want to aim for some smaller fish. your choices all get a little too big for a 10g.

You should have a minimum 20g for the Krib.

The Cherry barbs would be fine. Pygmy cories would be OK. Any others get too big for a 10g.

How about 6 Cherry barbs and 3 pygmy cories? Cherries do best in groups, so do cories.

I really love the Kribensis and I really want a cichlid for my tank how about a German Blue Ram but then I am unsure because I have read that they can be hard to keep and I don’t want any cichlid to die in my tank. Or is there any other cichlid I can have for a 10 ?

most cichlids get too big for a 10 gal. a shell dweller would be great but you can only do a male/female pair and nothing else. they can get extremly mean twards other fish!

Alooooooooo - HA!

:welcome:

welcome

if looking for Cichlids there are only a few I can suggest.
Shelldwellers is one. the other ..look at some apistos.. A borelli may work in this tank.

You could have a pair of Rams with 6 cherry barbs OR 3 cories. Rams are nice. The blue rams are tougher than the gold rams. Bolivian rams are even hardier. That said, no rams are reccomended for a brand new tank. Get your tank cycled, then put in the cherry barbs and let it go at that for a few weeks, then get your rams.

I still would prefer a tank with more swimming space for rams/apistos or shellies...like a 20 long...
