Tonight when i went to feed my fish, i noticed that one of my comet feeders was swimming around really fast, and i couldn't find the other one (my platy and swordtail were normal) so i went and got a torch and looked in the cave, and i saw my other comet feeder, covered in white salt-like spots.... i guess this is ich? the other comet feeder has it as well, but you can only really see it when you shine the torch on them... i checked the other 2, but they appear to be un-affected.... i immediately turned the temperature up to 85 degrees, and added 3/4 tablespoon of salt (10 gallon tank) and am going to add the other 1 1/4 tablespoons later on... have i gone about this right?
The ich infestation seems to be pretty bad on these 2 fish, they're pretty well covered in these salt-like spots, and one of them doesn't look too well at all....
have i done this right?
