Seattle and boise idaho
so i have two amazing amazon swords that both have runners about 8 or nine inches with about 6 sets of leaves and a bit of roots coming off of them
now to plant the runners should i clip them off the main plant or just bury the runners?

you can see them here

I'm sorry, I thought you were saying the runners themselves were 8 or 9 inches with roots! You want to wait until the plantlets are at least 2 to 3 inches and have roots before you snip them off and replant.

ok cool good thing i got my camera back up and running

I have to agree that those plantlets are way to small yet. Once they are a proper size you should be able to cut or break them off without much effort and plant them.
