Ammonia

I've been changing 25 percent of the water in my tank and adding ammo lock for over a week and only twice were the ammonia conditions went all the way to safe but the next day it spiked right back up to toxic. should i start putting bigger dosages of ammo lock in it?

It sounds like your bacteria colony isn't big enough yet to support the load in the tank. It sounds to me like your cycling right now which will only take time to get teh bacteria colony large enough to keep the ammonia down.
