Has anyone ever or currently use Amquel as their dechlorinator, i find that this is way way better than just a plain dechlorinator like Tetra, ect, i just want your opinions on it, thanks

I like it better. I trust Seachem more than I do many other companies. Both are good for Chloramines.
They both use the same ingredient as their conditioner Sodium hydroxymethanesulfate. Which elminates chloramine by binding to the chlorine and the ammonia.
Both are great products. I would just go for the cheaper of the two.

I agree, both are fine products. Kordon, maker of Amquel, is one of the leaders when it comes to providing detailed, scientific information about their products. Seachem is also a good, responsible company. I have used both products and recommend either without reservation.

amquel used to throw me off when testing the water and, yes, i had the salycilic (sp?) test!
