So i was thinking on planting Ambulia - Limnophila indica in my 3 gallon, in fine-medium size gravel, and i wasn't looking to add ferts or Co2. i do however, have a very bright light. Also, to Propogate it, am i allowed to just trim off the top and stick it in the gravel?

Well, if it's happy, it grows quite well without co2. But if your nitrate level in low it may not. It will probably be a PITA in such a small tank if it's happy. Be prepared for very frequent trimming.

I should also point out that it's illegal in the US...or maybe that is just in some states...But sellers sometimes call it something else that ends in sessiliflora (limnophilia?) to get around that... It can be an invasive weed in ponds etc...or a pretty aquarium plant.
