Would they eat my pygmy cories and the bumblebee gobies I'm going to buy?

And what is the plural of cory? Corys or cories? Just wondering.

I've never seen pygmy cories so I wouldn't know, although I have never heard of a botia loach eating another fish. Bumblebee gobies are brackish though.

Odd that I couldn't find the edit button but anyways.... One last question about zebra loaches! Is $7.30 a good price per loach? They're about 2", I think it was.

And bumblebees can be weaned onto fresh water and they do fine.

I would never pay over 3 for a zebra loach....

Ive heard of zebra loaches being nippy, but never experienced it myself, nor do i think they would eat another fish unless it was already dead.

as for weening the bbs onto non-brackish...I dont really know anything about that, but I would caution you that just because they can be weened, doesnt mean they should be...

None will be eaten although bumblebee gobies prefer hard alkaline waters which is a far cry from what zebra loaches prefer.

Cories for me. Similar as family=families, not familys.

It just depends on Law of Supply and Demand. Yoyos are cheaper but even larger and more boisterous.

There are over 9 species of bumblebee gobies. Some prefer freshwater, some prefer brackish.

Dead fish, yes. Fry-sized fish, yes but I doubt they'll try the pygmy cories. Most loaches do tend to nip but this often happens because people keep them singly not realizing these are sociable fish.

What a jip! I got ripped off! I got them from Aquabid.... Anyways, about the gobies. My fav lfs always know what they're talking about. They carry the ones that are fine in fresh water.

I know there's two that look a lot alike and people get confused between them but one is brackish the other is fine in fresh.

I'm a little confused though. Why might they eat cherry shrimp but not fish the same size or smaller than cherry shrimp?
