My anemone has moved itself into a cave, then all the way to the back of the tank under the rock pile for 3 days now. My clown is of course still in it as well and won't even come out when I put food in the tank.
My 3 neon gobies and l.m. blenny come out and eat just fine and swim around happy as can be.
I thought the nem would come out after a few hours or a day or two but it isn't budging. I aimed a powerhead into the area it was and it moved, but only to another spot in the very back under the rock pile.
It is out of almost all light and from what I can see still full and colorful but I'm just wondering if I should expect it to stay there or what is going on??

This is it from before so you know what kind it is possibly....

They seem to like to stick their butts near the bottom underneath side of rock .
Just my opinion , if you cant see it ,you dont know if something may be wrong with it !
When i restart my 100 gl ,im gonna rescape everything in the middle of the tank that way i can look on both sides to be sure it is ok .
I have to have a look at least 1x a day .
As mine did hide for a few days then didnt look so good lol
Iwouldnt worrie but try and take a look see if its ok

It looks like it's okay as far as color and isn't deflated or anything... from what I can see of it. That isn't much.
My new light and power heads are arriving any minute now via UPS so once I get that all set up I'll have to see what happens with it.
The clown won't come out of it either, haven't seen it for like 3-4 days now. Not even feeding times although I know some is getting in through the rocks to it, just not much at.

What lighting is on the tank, compared to the place where you brought it from? As it does not state how long you have had the nem....Usually, its because its unhappy with something in the area where it was, so, it moves to fine a better spot...be it flow, to heavy lighting et cetra...

That's what is really strange to me, it moved out of the light, out of the flow and under the rocks. It looks okay every time I look in on it but I can only see a very little piece of it.

I just put a new light on the tank (like 20 minutes ago) that is a Current Sunpod double MH system with LEDs The tank is much brighter now so I'll have to watch what it does in the next few days.

Here's pictures of the tank...

1. Using old light from 75G tank
2. New light

With the new light, i would start it off at about 15 inches above the tank, and slowly lower it over a 2 week period...the tank is not going to be used to all that light and it could damage some corals....

It is high up off the surface now, sitting on top of my canopy.
After a week or two I plan on moving it down onto the standoffs that come with it which will put it about 6" or so closer to the surface.
I also plan on keeping a a close eye on the temp. if it goes up too much it'll be going back on top of the canopy until I can get additional fans installed.

UPDATE:

Okay, the light has been on for a few days now and the nem is coming back out again. I guess it really didn't like the other light! Amazes me how that works.
Here are a couple pictures of it now. :headbang2:
I just finished adding 32lbs of live rock, that should be the last of it.
