I got a False Clown (nemo) I have 2 anenomes

Condy (I know the clown probly wont go near it because it is an atlantic anenome) It has been there for 2 weeks with the clown and the clown has not even noticed it.

The other anenome ( I am not sure what kind it is) My local fish store said clowns like this kind alot. I know it is not a carpet. It is about 3 inches in diameter and has a brownish color with purple tips and when i bought it there was a tomato clown or cinamon clown rubbing in it.

It has been in there for 2 days and the clown has not seemed to noticed.

I am not sure if the clown was tank raised or not. At the time I bought it I did not know to ask.

My main question is.... Is there anyting I can do to try and make them get aquanted? Thanks..

Most clown fish in LFS are tank raised, meaning they have no need for a anemone, they either host in one or they dont, and theres no way to convince them otherwise.

I agree. Chances are that it may never pair up. Hopefully your tank can sustain 2 anemones as well.

There are rumors that taping a photo of a clown near an anemone will help the process. Seriously. I don't know that it's actually worked.

Why would my tank not beable to have two anenomes? Lighting? Food? Is there something I should do?

I got my sand and water from the ocean I thought it would be good for them...?

IT might not beable to handle two anemones because of aggresion. They might be at war right now. It depends on the size of the tank and the spacing.

I'd keep them as far apart as I could. The Condy will move around quite a bit stinging anything that gets in it's way. So keep a close eye on your other critters

Thanks for the heads up my girlfriend went to the lfs and told them what we wanted so they gave her a Clarki which still hasent gone for the anenomes. How long does it usually take. I havent found that online anywhere . Thanks agian
