Ok, I received two angel fish. A friend was going to "get rid of them" and asked if I wanted them first...well of coarse I had to take them. Right now I have them in my 29g w/ my female bettas. When I get my bigger tank for my oscar (within a month), I will have my 55g..but I was going to split up my 75 between them. So I need to know what of my fish can live in a 55 or the 75 with them? I have
1-JD, 2 gold Sevs, 1-FM, 1 RD, and 1 midas...so who should I put where, once I get my upgrade?

Also any advise for the Angels would be great. What I have now that I feed my fish is Frozen Bloodworms, beefheart, krill, mysis shrimp....floating cichlid pellets, flake food, obviously I do not feed all that at the same time, I mix it up...one day a mix of the frozen, then pellets, then flakes and the occasional blanched veggies.

You have quite a mix there, you really need a 3rd tank other than 75g and 55g, lol.

Do you know which of these fish are males and females?

None of them are particularly compatable with angelfish. The sevs I'd trust most, the rest I wouldn't even try with them.

Ok, well Thanks guy's!!! I was thinking that (with the Sevs). I figured I would end up having to get another tank:shakehead: but well, I just couldn't let him do what he was going to!

Well, I think for now they will be fine in with the Bettas, till I can get my 180, I am planning...then I can move them and the Sev's in the 55, and the others can stay in the 75..once the JD and Midas are bigger I plan on moving them in with the Oscar.

I have no idea what sex they are they are all Juvies, the biggest being my Sevs which I would guess at about 3".

Here are a couple Pics of the Angels.

Ahh, don't tell me that...I'm not ready for spawning!! Really I have no idea if they are male or female. He only had them for a few weeks, and decided he didn't want them. He is getting a Oscar and was going to just leave them in there for the Oscar to "snack on" he said...that is why I took them!

the only reliable method for sexing angels is when they spawn.. the female will show an ovipositor which will be short, blunt and thicker than the males. the males tube will be longer and skinny.
a pair should be fine in a 29 but you may not be able to put many tank mates in..they will terrorize any mid dwellers. bottom dwellers will be fine.

My first thought was "Maybe the Sevs would be OK, until they get big."

Having lots of plants (fake, or, preferably, real) would also help minimize aggression by providing lots of visual barriers & dividing tank up into several territories.

Well, right now there are 5 female bettas in the tank...so far everyone is fine, no aggression yet from either side. If they will be fine in there..then I'm not going to worry about it. I'm sure they would love a bigger home...and will eventually get one I'm sure, since I am constantly upgrading tank...I NEED BIGGER, LOL!!

Do they grow fast??
