I went to the LFS and found some nice rams. Then in the next tank that have these lil small fat rams. They said they are angel rams. Anyone know about these?

Yep, they have been bred for their distorted swim bladders, just like balloon mollies, etc. Kind of like collie dogs - they were bred for longer and skinnier faces. This was considered a more pleasing appearance, nevermind that epilepsy is now a real problem in this breed... Same with german shepherds - breeders thought that their backs were too long. Now that the dogs have shorter sloping backs hip displasia is rampant in the breed...

Just to clarify,naps said:geneticly modified fish...
Genetic modification implies actually altering the genetics of the fish in a laboritory, while the baloon rams are line bread for certain traits(as cathy has pointed out) I dont really agree with either method, but wanted to point out the diference.
