Yep, first time!

Had them for about 6 months now, moved to there new 55 gallon home about 3 weeks ago.

Just did some research, seems they will spawn every 2 weeks. Might have to get something for them to lay eggs on besides the filter intake!

Mom & Dad are busy watching the eggs and chasing the other fishies away..

Congrats you have angel eggs for sure lol ... . and with those parents those fry (if successful) will be the most beautiful of angel fish.

Really gorgeous angels :)

Maybe a flat rock or a nice size cave or pot would make it some what easier for the angels instead of a filter pipe lol

Good luck hope everything goes well

Hope they pull through for ya!

not to worry too much ..they will move the wigglers if they hatch.

are there other fish in the tank?

the angels will move the wigglers ..usually to another surface or large leaf. mine will lay eggs on the tube then move the wigglers to leave..watch their behavior..they will guard the newly hatched fry.

it takes about 3 days from the time they lay the eggs to wigglers..white eggs are dead/unferitlized ..
dark/ clear eggs are viable..you may lose some to fungus near dead eggs.

take a close look at the eggs and you will see the eggs going from round to oval.

also keep an eye on the fry /wigglers..many times the parents will allow them to go to free swimming(3 days after hatching)
I usually try to remove part of the hatch at this time. if you want to raise them.

keep us posted..if you get wigglers and you want them to grow..consider BBS.

congrats and good luck
