I have several Angel fish in a fairly new 90 gallon tank and most of them are fairly small in size. I have an air pump at each end of the tank in the top corners and a Rhena canister spray bar along the top of the back wall. There is quite alot of current/movement throughout the tank and I notice that in quite a few places the angels seem to struggle to swim. There is alot of bubbles in the tank all the time and I'm wondering if there is a problem with too much air and, is there such a thing as too much current for angel fish? Please advise. Thanks!

Angels come from somewhat slow moving blackwaters...so yeah, they don't appreciate strong currents. They are not especially strong swimmers. They're designed more for short bursts of speed for catching prey than for constant action.

But the other factor is that they also haven't had to deal with any real current, and are therefore not at their personal strongest when it comes to swimming.

What size Rena? You could attach another spray bar or make the holes larger to help lessen the flow concentration. IME, they do prefer calmer waters.
