ok well i have a 4 ft fish tank with 3 angel fish in it and 2 guppys.
im going to take the guppys back to the store i was wondering what sort of other fish could i put with them.
i was thinking maybe a couple of silver dollars or a discus??

If your angelfish are aggressive eaters, then no discus. Silver dollars are far too active for angelfish Stick with keyholes, festivums, Bolivian rams, blue rams or apistogrammas along with cories, small species of plecos and tetras instead.

I have a whole slew of different fish in my angel tank.

Cardinal tetras, otto cats, raphael cats, SAEs, a zebra and bristlnose pleco, and some kind of Tetra very similar to Serpaes, but not quite.

Agreed about the pps Discus/Silver Dollar comment. Also, if you DO decide to go with rams, make sure there are plenty of hiding spaces as they can be easily intimidated by larger angels. Any group of larger tetra will work. I've had corys, red eye tetras, SAEs, and even one dwarf gourami with angels w/o incident. HTH
good luck!

oto's are one of the few catfish i won't keep with angels..mine have a tendency to 'eat' them.

larger tatras black neons or cardinals have worked for me..tho angel may give chase or senak up on the cardinals.

rams work well(both species) as well as others suggested.
discus can be kkept with angels but you need to take a few precautions...make sure the angels have been wormed. also keep in mind discus are schooling fish..so you need a small school and a large tank.

thanx for the help. my angels arnt very aggressive eaters
so i will consider some discus but like star rider said i will need a small school, and i dunno if my tank is big enuf might get a bristle nose and some keyhole cichlids,
thanx again for the help.
