Angel Fish Pectoral Fin

hi all,

three year old angel. base of right pectoral is red. never seen this before. otherwise good health. all water tests good. any ideas?

could be a number of things..angels have been know to get bacterial infections..they could be internal or external.
generally treat in a hospital tank with an antibiotic.

check your water conditions too..if the infection is external..make sure you keep the water clean..reducing exposure for possible fungal or more bacterial infections.
