I have a 55 gallon tank. In the tank I have two angel fish. Last night I was looking at the larger angel fish and looked like something was nipping at it's upper and lower fins. Well tonight i looked at him and they are gone. Could this be fin rot or the other fish picking on him. Other than those 2 fins he seems to be fine from looking at him. Anything I can do for him that might save him??

could be but you may also have other nippers in the tank..tho dwarf gouramis are usually peacful I have heard of them becoming aggressive tho usually with other gouramis.
Iknow angels can be agressive..I have several in a tank and they nip at each other alot..tho they usually don't hurt other fish(I do have a breeding paor that I am moving this weekend they are very aggressive)

how do the other fish interact..I see a keyhole..and cichlids are cichlids..

They all seems to be doing fine in there. The angels have been in there several weeks and no problems. My little keyhole stays at the bottom of the tank. Won't even come up to eat. Should I get one of those quaranteen nets and put the poor little guy in that and see if he gets better. Will it hurt the fish if i treat the tank for fin rot just incase?? Any suggestions for what to do??
