Angel Fish

I'm sorry, your fish is goner. If he does live then he'll never hover in the water properly again. Ever been to place that has a tank where an angelfish is wobbly or always on it's side? That's a survivor of what your angel has.
Consider letting him go easily in a zip lock bag in the freezer, it's a long slow death in the tank.

With my luck, it would be stopped at the border and held at customs without proper refrigeration or worse, confiscated because it's a biological item...it hasn't been approved for sale or importation here. Though I might ask my snowbird inlaws to bring some back with them when they return to Canada this spring. :)

JCMO... do you really think he is a goner? do you think he is suffering?

does anyone else think this is this case...? I actually went to pull him out last night... when I got him in the net he fought so much that I decided if he had that much fight in him I would let him keep fighting in the tank... I am a bowhunter... I generally reserve the act of killing something for the purpose of eating it or to relieve it of great suffering... outside of the two reason I have trouble taking life of any kind... what does anyone think?

:OT: Just FYI, I contacted The Fish Store as Gunnie suggested, and they do ship Bio-Spira to Canada, so I may just have to try it...I'll give my cycling a few more days yet (the end has to be near!), but will definitely consider ordering it for my next, bigger, tank! Thanks for suggesting it, Gunnie.:)
