Angel Growth

I still manage to lose my black vail tail angel even though he's 5 inches tall (tail to tail). I have a black background, but I usually can't find him because he is crusing low through the plants, not because he camoflages against the background.

I once bought 9 angels at quarter size and they grew fast. Oh course I fed them like crazy too. The rate of growth has a few determining factors. Water quality, the rate at which you feed them, and how much you feed can determine how fast they grow.

You forgot the most important one temperature. The warmer it is the faster they'll grow. I keep my tank at 82 and they grow like weeds. I also change the water every other day(20-25%) along with three feedings a day(frozen,flake,pellets).

I keep my tank 80-82*. I do a 50% water change every 2 weeks, sometimes every week if it needs it.
