ammonia and nitrite at 0 and nitrate at about 7ppm. ph is at about 7.5. its a 30 gallon tall with eclipse hood. crystal clear water, 50% water change once a week and i have one other angel with him and 1 rummy nose tetra.
I am pretty sure you have a filter with a water outflow that produces areation, but if not all I can think of is that he needs more areation. Also if the angles aren't full grown yet I would add more rummy nose tetras to make a school. He must be lonely.
That would be my guess too, lack of O2 in the H2O. Ammonia was my forst guess, but your test results ruled that out. Check to be sure the filter is working properly (I recently found that, while mine was running fine, the output was severly hampered by a blockage). Other than that, mabey it's hungry?
the water output is very strong , in my opinion to strong and i know theres enouph o2 in the water i can see lots of tiny bubbles floating around in the tank and at the surface so i dont think its that. thanks for the replys ill just keep an eye on it and give them a nice big dinner
