It's better to have a 29 gallon for angels. Here's why: the standard 30 gallon has enough volume but lacks the height of a 29. In a 29 gallon you could have 2 Angels like I do as you have the 30 gallon volume (yes I know it's really 29 gallons) plus the added height. I want to give you further advice on angels but knowing that you're tank isn't the right height I'm afraid of misleading you. If you really want a pair of angels is there any way you could sell the 30 and get a 29?
Prolly not the tank is 21 inches high does that matter? The tank is labeled as a 30 gallon tall but i guess it could be a 29 seeing as how it was given to me
if you can find a proven breeding pair, then that would be enoguh for a 30 gallon and they wouldnt fight.
two males will fight over dominance though. angels do fine on their own.
