I have had one Angelicus Botia for about three weeks now. She is pretty much an adult, with much of the black grown in with the polka dot. I just introduced today two young Angelicus Botias. They still look more striped than polka dotted. I found out that I was supposed to keep them in groups and not alone so I purchased the two additional fish. My problem is that the bigger loach is picking on the two young ones. I can't tell if it is biting or pushing but it looks kind of aggressive. It has only been about 8 hours so I probably have to just wait it out for them to get used to each other. Any advice on this? Any mistakes I might have made?

How big are the new ones? If they are really young, 1-1 1/4 in, you may have to separate them until they grow a bit and can fend for themselves. It's natural for loaches to bicker a bit to establish a pecking order. I'd keep a close eye and if it looks like they are suffering, separate them. Chances are though they'll work it out for themselves.
Another thing to consider is to have enough places for them to hide so they don't fight over a single cave or hole.

The young ones are about 1-1/4". There are a lot of hiding places, I have a conch shell my mom got in the Caribbean that the bigger loach hangs out in. I also have a cool house with a water wheel and chimney that has 2 or 3 places. Also a treasure chest for hiding. I'll keep an eye on them for now. I have been planning on getting a 10 gallon tank for separation reasons as well as just to throw a few fish in for my little sister. I'll get that up and running in case the loaches have issues. Thanks for the help

Glad you found your way to LOL, I saw your post there also. It would be good to have the 10gal for a Q-tank also. I don't put any fish in my main tanks without first spending a month in a Q-tank and usually some prophylactic medswhile there. Another thing to be aware of is that seashells will decompose and add elements to your tank that could be adverse. Keep an eye on your PH and TDS.
Good luck with the Kubotai, they're my favorites!
