I have a 29G tall bowfront currently occupied by 6 zebra danios, 3 otos, 5 pepper corys, and 2 Blue Rams. The tank has two Aquaclear 30 HOB filters, and is well-planted with plenty of hide-outs.

I'd like to finish-off my stocking with an Angel, and was looking for some thoughts as to whether it would work out in terms of overall bio-load and compatability with the Rams.

I know both Angels and Rams are cichlids, so I'm not sure how they would be together. One of the Rams is very doccile, but the other can be a little bit of a bully if someone gets between him and his food.

Any thoughts on whether adding the Angel will work out for me?

Wellll..considering your tank IS a tall tank, I suppose you can add one angel, but I am not too sure! Rams and angels can get along, but be wary of the angel's personality. You don't want the aggressive ones. I have a Koi angel and he/she gets along fine with my rams;very peaceful but a food hogger.....

So it depends sometimes on the personality thing i suppose. To me, I think koi's are okay , but today I saw one pecking others so I dont know now lol. They get rather large too.

The tank is pushing it for an Angel as they get pretty large and like to swim around. Plus Angels' natural food is Neon Tetras. Zebra Danios are about the same size. That could pose problems when the Angel is large enough.

Your tank is too full to add anangel, IMO. While the 29 may have the height for an angel, it definitely does not have the free swimming space for such a graceful fish.
