Okay so I have finally started deciding what I want to put in my 50g. So far this is what I have decided on:
2 Angelfish
6 Head and Tail light tetras
3 or 4 corydoras

How does this look so far to everyone? Any suggestions? Also I don't know what type of cories I want yet, I'm thinking maybe some pandas? Thanks guys!

you need a couple more angels.. get two breeding pairs.. ive always wanted to have a tank with a couple pairs of angels and a bunch of neons... but ur tank can handel more fish than that and two angels would be a small group, also u should get at least 6 corys

to get breeding pairs, buy a bunch of juvinile angels (like 10) and carefully moniter them. if you notice any bullys then selll them back to the lfs, as the fish mature if you notice any fish that pick on only one other fish, then leave these bullys alone, they might become a pair.DO REASEARCH on how to get a good pair, multiple sourses are best.
if your lfs wont take them back, then pay $$ for a breeding pair from a local breeder...

i would not go with two pair in a 50 gallon tank. high odds of having only one pair very quickly.

Maybe add a different mid sized ciclid or two instead 9maybe severums?

Lots of incredible choices--a pair of rams (or two if introduced at the same time) would look great in there instead of more aggressive, larger cichlids.
