Angels attacking tank sides?

Mine swims up and down the glass when she is hungry, however, I've had her for 4+ years and she knows how to get my attention. I'f I'm correct, yours are still babies, so they wouldn't be doing this becuase of that. They are either insecure, trying to swim past thier reflections, or are still just getting used to the tank. I wouldn't really worry about it unless they're still doing it in a couple weeks.

Yeah.. they're still babies. about the size of a quarter, their bodies are.

I still think you should try using a background, it will only cost you a couple of bucks, and if it doesn't work to help the fish.. at least it makes the tank more attractive. thats my guess anyways.. also if it doesn't work then they might like some decorations to hide behind (preferably something natural looking like driftwood)

just for future information, and my male is silver dollar sized, the breeding tube will "appear between"- an estimation- the pectoral filamental fins (is that right?) and the ventral fin. for most of the time, they are internal. they are pretty small, especially in young angels and at times hard to see. the male's is smaller than the female (LOL) and pointed. the female's is more blunt. they are easier to see on larger angels.

well, duh me, i have a correction on fins and tube location (when seen externally anyway). it will be somewhere in front of the anal fin, before the pelvic/ventral fin...thus, in between... it will only be visible on occassion.
