ANGELS Changing Color

Hi All,

I have been breeding Angels for about 15 years, I have 4 pair of zebra angels that change color. Their black stripes get dark when they feel threatened by other Angels or when they are spawning. I just thought you all would like to see a few pics.

What a joy it is to watch and be greeted by these fish, some people think Angels are boring.

do you find that the ones who develop a nuchal hump (most easily seen in pic 2) usually turn out to be males?

Yes , the hump is a dead give away, most of our males have this hump with the exception of our prize Sun sets . Our females are much smaller than the males and the females tend to be more aggressive. Thats just our fish!
