Angels Spawning (Video)

Here's a quick video of my Angels in the process of spawning,
despite me adding slate rock in the tank, they still insist on
spawning on the filter. well thats cichlids i suppose, just do
their own thing, lol

If you don't want them to spawn on the filter, get a nice big clean flat piece of slate in the tank. they will like that.

LOL I have the same probem..they prefer the tubes over the slate and I have large spawning slate in the tank..at least they don't spawn on the heater anymore.:huh:

there is probably alot more oxygen around the intake, so they spawn there

the water naturally flow twords the overflow so its less fanning for the parents... stick your biggest piece of slate on the overflow and see how that goes. gl with the fry :]
