Ok i got 2 juvy angles ones like a dalmation and the other has stripes like a tiger on him. the dalmaiton looking one is younger cause he looks a bit smaller. i also have 2 Bn plecos 15 neons 2 male guppies 2 female (in fry tank waiting to give birth). the angels dont care about the other fish but the striped one when it sees a pleco will swim up to it look at it for a bit then swim up and kiss it (doesnt look like its nipping and im thinking the pleco would swim away if it got nipped.) is it just curious or telling it to **** off? also it doesnt always do it just every now and then. the tank is 55g.

Probably just establishing a pecking order ("kisses" are like a punch on the shoulder) good luck :)

hehe i never had this problem in my old tank when i had 5 angels they stuck to themselvs unless they got to close to my bettas cave then he would chase them away.

I don't think it's anything to worry about... I have juvie angels with a pleco - they terrorize him - poor pleco used to hide under the hydrosponge - all because they were forraging for food off the bottom of the tank

i've noticed that angels always seem to be hungry. if i put my hand near the top of the tank they swim right up to it even if i stick the net in they dont seem scared of it. hehe also i had a moth fall in there last night and they ate his legs off.

Juvie angels seem to have unending appetites - and will actually beg for food... sometimes I think they eat more than my juvie discus who are much larger... I've put them on the same schedule as the discus - several small feedings and they are growing nicely. See if yours will have beefheart - mine love it - will actually peck away at it when i hold the cube in my fingers

Cool i was thinking i could probably hand feed them almost. At the moment im using flake and brine shrip and if i can be bothered hatching them baby brine (for the neons). i prefer living foods (yeh flakes living...hahah) to keep the tank clean cause i hate a dirty tank.

After the first week of having them, mine got used to my hands being in the tank and in a while they would eat bloodworm out of the pudding cup or peck at the beefheart cube i hold... Angels are addictive - I've dumped almost all my other fish (except discus - but I am a little scared of blowing those up) - so I have to say I enjoy my angels the most

I fed my angels some brine shrip today...well the mrs did and i think she put to much in because now they have little fat bellies! or is this some kind of sickness?
