anubias in a pot?

I just bought a very small anubias nana plant. I bought it on impulse because it was so cute and small. Now I am trying to decide what to do with it. Would it be ok in a terra cotta pot, or would that stunt it somehow? What would be the best way to plant it? Would gravel be ok? I don't have any soil for the plants I have in my tanks now, they're either tied to rocks and wood, or just planted right in the gravel.
Basically I'm tired of tying java fern and anubias to stuff.

Or, how well would it stay rooted in the gravel as long as I made sure the rhizome is above gravel?

Or are there any other/better ideas?

It will root if you leave the rhizome exposed. The easiest is tie it to a rock with some cotton thread then you can move it wherever you like.

yeah wedge lightly in the rock. when you pull it out a few months later it will have a lot of your gravel dangling from it. Hahaha. cute. Depending on the size, you can put it in a clay plot without anything in the pot. Softly wedge it in. Sounds like you got a 'pucci' nana. I love them too, but I usually just tie them to driftwood using black twisty ties that come with heaters, filters, lights etc to to keep the cord bundled.

i have just tossed some gravel over the root to keep it down until they can take hold.

Thanks for the tips. I have 3 other anubias plants that are much larger and tied to driftwood, but this time I think I'll just try sticking the roots in the gravel and let it take hold.
This new one might be small enough that it could be put into one of those nanos in a brandy glass or something like they had in TFH last month. That might be a fun thing to try sometime...
