Anyone have any experience w/ the Five Banded Barb (Puntius Pentazona)? Are the as peaceful as they say or do they get nippy? How many should be purchased? What characteristics do they have?

I have never had them but I know people that have. Looks like a Tiger barb, but does not share the reputation of fin-nipping, It has trouble acclimating to a new tank,but it becomes very hardy after this period. The colors only develop in well-maintained water. As far as I know they should be kept in schools of at least 5-6 fish.
