So, any of those worth looking in to? I'm willing to drive, but only if it's worth the effort, time, and money, so I want your experianced opinions.

It's really just a matter of opinion. What we think is a good deal might be a bad one to you. In the end, it's your decision anyway.

I would go for the first one, though. :)

Go for a 75 rather than a 55 in any case, significantly increases your stocking options. Look around for a FW tank/setup though, less trouble to clean up. I have a 90 gallon tank, black pine stand and canopy available for $180 and a 55 w/black laquer (particleboard) cabinet stand for $100 but I'm in MD.

What do you want to do with this new tank? Knowing that would have a tremendous impact on what I'd recommend.

*edit* Though I wouldn't buy the second one. For $5 more you can get a brand new one at Petco right now.

*edit 2* And after actually clicking the links, I wouldn't recommend the first one either. Being a tall tank like that, it limits your options greatly. There are far more fish that primarily swim side to side, than up and down. Get the biggest footprint you can!

Spend it all on your other tanks: get ferts, beastly lighting, better equipment, new plants, ect.

It's easy to get caught up in wanting more and more tanks, but I've personally found that only having 2-3 is MUCH better. I'd rather work on making these look amazing, and slowly save up money and get out of jail free cards for something obnoxiously large (I'm praying for a 125) My parents are also much more willing to get more tanks now that my original ones look nice.

Or you could just put it in the bank, I'm sure that you'll rather use that money for something besides fish someday. Even if you do end up using it on fish, you never know when a tank may spring a leak and you need to quickly replace it.

Well, UN, your way wins by default. I'm broke, but I did get to start up another tank.... 4 now. Thanks for the replies though!
