Any one have good luck with signal gobys?

I have had two. The first one lasted three weeks and died.
The other one i got lasted for about five days.
I don't know what to do to keep them alive.
I'm thinking about getting another one but i want to get some advice first.

Is that the twinspot goby? If so they sadly often starve to death. They like a deep sand bed and often need fed 4-5x a day to increase their survivability, especially when around more aggressive feeders. They sure are pretty though huh?

I didn't have a chiller back then but now i do. I have a 55gal and im starting to get sum corals i purchased a couple of frag's sum zoos, rics, and a pink toadstool frag. I will post pics as soon as i have time. It still looks plane but with time i hope to get it looking good. But id like to have a signal goby there fun to watch hoping around.

There are other gobies that will act like that and are far easier to keep.

Yes it is the twinspot goby. Very beautiful.

I had a Rainfords goby and he was fun to watch to but not as much as the signal.
Although it is dto keep theres got to be a way.

Like I said...deep sand bed, feed it 4-5x a day, don't house it with more aggressive eaters and have fuge to help with the pod population.

I didn't have a fuge back then so that was the problem then cause i always had a deep sandbed im going to try it again as soon as i find one.

I never saw either one eat anything i gave them but they both did all day sand sifting.

Which is why they often starve in aquariums. Unless they are in a big tank they often deplete the sand bed.
