I am looking for a light set for my new 20 gallon long tank. i search on ebay and i discover there is a seller topdogsellers. His lights are really cheap compare to the famous brands. However, it is always too good to be true because it's only $80 shipped.

So, my question is, did anone try this or still using this and can anyone make some comments to this fixture for me.

Looks like an odyssea fixture, however i don't see a 30" T5HO fixture from them but i see a 24" same sized bulbs and $69.

They aren't great fixtures.

Here is a dedicated site that sells just odyssea brand stuff incase you don't want to deal with ebay.

At least you have a brand name to deal with so you can do some research now.

This would be a better fixture if you want cheap, it has individual reflectors and fishneedit has awesome customer service and they ship stuff out super fast!

I wouldn't use a fixture this bright on a shallow 20 gallon long for a planted tank unless you are doing pressurized co2 or you'll have an algae monster!

For planted it would be plenty, you'd still most likely have to run co2 as T5HO is pretty intense lighting, and 20L is a pretty shallow tank.
