i went to wal-mart the other day and bought five ghost shrimp. three were females with lots of green eggs with eye spots, and two were males. one of the smaller males jumped the tank and dried out before i could see him sadly. i noticed in one of the females i can actually see the shrimp body in the eggs or w/e, like i see two eyes and a curled green to light green body with a micro fan tail. (not really that small but small enough). should i seperate the females from the rest of the tank because i read that ghost shrimp fry don't survive well in main tanks compared to tanks devoted completely to them?

You need to cultivate infusoria to feed them, and some species need salt added for the fry to be successful.

I thought this thread said "Does anyone have a retarded ghost shrimp?"

There are multiple species sold as Ghost Shrimp. The FW/BW shrimp have higher order breeding with the offspring being miniature adults and they are quite easy to breed in tanks. A write up of my experoences with these is at:

The BW/SW species have lower order breeding, producing many more much smaller eggs which after hatch spend some time in the plankton in high BW to full SW and undergo multiple molt stages before settling out. These are extremely difficult to rear in captivity.
