Anyone Firmilar With Uv Sterlizers?!?!

anyone have any experience or suggestions about using UV sterlizers in your fish tank??? they r said to kill harmful microbacteria........but in my mind would that UV light kill the benefical bacteria as well? =P

No experience with them but I do know that they do not kill beneficial bacteria.

i dun see how it can kill good bacteria and not bad............bacteria is bacteria? i need to find a article and see how they r used
