I wanted to see if other people on here has a tall planted tank like me. To see what equipment they have. Right now I'm working with a Catalina T5 - 4-54 watt 216 watts.

GM:

I have a 110G, 30" deep bowfront.

2 PC fixtures - 260W total - one 7000K, two 10000K, and one 6500K bulb
and
1 MH fixture - 300W - one 10000K

Note that I am experimenting with dry ferts, bulb K values, and high light with DIY CO2.

Please note that I will never have another 30" deep tank as they are too difficult to deal with via not being able to manually work on the bottom.

lol. Ya I agree it's not the greatest tank for working on. I'm just lucky that I'm tall and have long arms, but I LOVEEEEEEEEE how tall it is when I show it off or look at it myself. Well first off tank dimensions 48x18x30. Second I wanted to see how others are doing with deep planted tanks. I really don't want CO2. I was hoping to have a nice tank without it. Plus I don't think my parents would want me to get it.

How is the DIY CO2 working?
