I've been happy to just use my free 10mb of space with my Earthlink account but now I'd really like to be able to put up a lot more stuff. 10mb isn't going to cut it. I also wouldn't mind having a domain name rather than the Earthlink address for my site.

The trick is Jaime is likely to think this is not worth a monthly payment so I'll need to find someone on the cheap. Anyone know of a cheap but decent webhost?

This person below is cheap but not the best service:

My friend is hosted by them and they are very good:

This place is VERY cheap and trustworthy. I have had friends that have been hosted by her: (she is a reseller)

Another good place:

I have been hosted by them, very good:

Great place:

I am hosted at http://realwebhost.com GREAT service and reliability but a little pricey. Still have cheap plans though.

Well, at geocities I pay $8.95 a month... not counting the domain name (annual cost) and the increased bandwidth I have bought for each month because of increasing site traffic. But they start you off with 25 MB of space - plenty for me right now.

I forgot to add if you use one of the ones I posted you have to use FTP. I don't know if you know how to use it, it will be easy to learn though. Plus you can learn almost anything on the internet.

They are all over 200 megs of space though. (I think)

Thanks guys! I guess what I thought was cheap isn't all that cheap to some. I was thinking anything under $10 a month was in range. Realwebhost looks good. As far as FTP goes, I'm a hack but I use Adobe GoLive which uploads through FTP so I should be okay.
