Anyone use Python No Spill/Clean ?!

So you're saying that you take the water out.. treat the old tank water, and immediately refill with the "python"?
Does this work?

I'm not sure this makes sense. Why would you treat the old tank water. Put it in the flower bed and treat the new water. Just put your declor in the tank and then put the new water in behind it. The declor is instant. Be sure that the declore you are using also deals with cjhloramine in addition to chlorine. A lot of the declors on the market do not deal with chloramine.
Another point about the python. When removing water from the tank, if the drain end of the python is BELOW the level of the pickup end you will have a syphon and you may then turn of the tap (conserve water). If you don't have a syphon you will have to leave the water turned on.

They meant the water remaining in the tank after they've drained it...

I have a hard time believing the de-chlorinator works instantly ..knowing that it is mixing in the tank water with existing tank water and the new tankwater..just doesn't add up..however, I do believe it acts fast..( I guess to much chemistry in college)
keep in mind that you are actually only changing part of your water..maybe 25-30% ..in essence the ppm count of the chorine/chloramine is diluted by the existing tank water..minimizing exposure to the new chlorine/chloramine..the additive to de-chlorinate should be added to the existing tank water...to further minimize the impact any chlorine/chloramine might have.
if you are doing really big water changes ..as some breeders do..they age the water for up to 3 days before using it..

pythons make it easier to do water changes..tho I prefer to use a regular vac to clean the gravel.I prefer to dump the water from the tank on the lawn.and I notice the area that gets that water if very green...LOL

I've never had a problem, no matter where I've lived...So the dechlorinator must work like that....

I use my Python to gravel vac all the time. Some times I jusy let it run out the window to flower beds, somw times down the sink drain.
