apistogramma baenschi breeding

I came home yesterday to find my female apisto baenschi guarding her chiclid rock, which could only mean 1 thing....eggs!

So quick questions on how to care for them.

How long do the eggs take to hatch?

Should I move them into a tank with the mother or without?

Any advice is appreciated.

I do not have experience with those particular apistos...mine were panduros. However, with cichlids in general, discus, angels, geos etc....I have found letting them parent raise is much easier. Then when they are a few weeks old...seperate. Let the parents do the hard work. My panduros had 3 different spawns in the same tank, all being parented by them. It is really cool to watch. My brasilensis geos defended their spawn in a cichlid community tank!!! I say give them a chance and see what happens!
