Well, if there's 2 there may be more, lol.

BTW pond & ramshorn snail eggs look like a small bunch of clear jelly, sometimes with a few bubble-looking areas (I see a very small egg mass on my tank glass right now). I'm not sure at what size snails can reproduce. I have pretty soft water that erodes their shells. Not many adult sized pond snails, but more than I'd like ideally. Ramshorns are my favorite "pest" snail.

Keep your eyes peeled for both snails & eggs. I wouldn't be too concerned if it's only a few, like I said I like ramshorns of any color (red bodies are nice, maybe speckled would be too). At my plant club meet people sometimes bring red ramshorns to give away; I have trouble keeping them alive here.

If they get out of control (more than you like), you can scrape off the egg jelly with a fingernail. But it must be removed, not just dropped onto the substrate. Snail shells can be crushed pretty easily against the glass or even between your fingers. Be careful not to go all "snail massacre" at 1 time. It can cause an ammonia spike, right be fore a vac & water change is good. But...we used to feed both types to our botia loaches as treats.

Trumpet snails (MTS) are a whole different thing; live bearers with very hard shells. but I don't mind them either in "reasonable" numbers.

Again, don't overfeed!! & good luck
