I am setting up a small planted tank for my office. I got a 40cm x 23cm x 22cm ( 20L ). I want to have a well-planted setup with a large dragon stone and some mopani roots. I intend to put Neo Helios XP-300 Flat Led light with 1320 Lumens on top. I will stock it with only a Betta and possibly a couple of Corys too.
My problem is this: I don't want a sponge filter inside the tank because the tank is already small as it is and it will spoil the aquascaping I want to do. So I don't know what choice of filter I have. I am not used to tanks this small and all my other tanks have canister filters such as Eheim 2217 or similar. The fish load will be minimal and I don't want high speed water movement inside the tank. I have been suggested a hang-off-back type but I don't know if they come that small.
What are my choices?
