I finally got a syringe and some kalk. Where do you squirt it in at? At the base or down from the top? Or does it matter??

Hmmm... I tried sticking them. That didn't work. They shrink down too fast. My needle is not sharp either, it's blunt with a hollow end. I can tap my finger in the end and it won't stick me. I ended up squirt the top and letting it's arms close around the kalk...Don't know if this will work or not... Any other ideas??
Peppermint Shrimp are good for getting rid of the little nasties. kalwasser injected into the stalk generally works well also. Boiling water injected into the stalks will also work.
Ejecting them with calcium hydroxcide works awesome also.

Yea I have thought about useing peppermint shrimp. I have a Lime green wrasse and a 6 line wrasse. Don't know how long the shrimp would last though. Think I'll try a sharper needle.

This way should work, but it may take more than one try - this is the way I kill them in my tank. Instead of 'injecting' them, I 'feed' them a very thick kalk paste. Usually, it works on the first try, but I occasionally have to hit 'em twice.
