My mother purchased an Aqua Culture 10/20g tank stand from Walmart, to use with her new 10g tank. The box describes it as fitting 10g, 15g, or 20g tanks.
The stand is made out of iron. Its top has the outer edge where a 20g tank would be placed, and two inner squares where it looks like a 10g or 15g tank would be placed.
We placed the empty 10g on the stand, and it doesn't match any of the inner squares.
For it to fit, we would have to place the front edge of the tank on the outer edge, and the back edge on one of the inner squares. That doesn't sound to me as though the weight would be distributed evenly enough.
Any ideas? I can post a pic if necessary; kind of hard to visualize, perhaps, just from my description.
