What do you guys think about the Aquaclear powerhead 70 with attachable sponge filter?

Is it a good powerhead for my tank?

I was thinking about getting 2 of them for my 240 gallon stocked with:

12" RTG
18" Black Aro
8" regular green severum
6" regular gold severum
4" red shoulder (green/turqoise) severum
5" red severum
3" Uaru A. (2)
7" red blood parrot
3" red blood parrot
5" Juruense Catfish.

My tank is running from a 30"L x 12"w x 16"h wet/dry.

I like my aquaclear powerheads. I guess if the 70s will give you the flow you need to run the wet/dry they should be good and reliable. Once in a while you need to check the intakes for clogs (which doens't happen often), but if you are using a sponge over the intake that shouldn't be a problem.

hope that helps! :)

Yeah my concern about them was if they clog easy or have any kind of malfunctions or if I need something more powerful than that.
