Aquael Unimax Pro canister filter

I wanted to get rid of my H.O.B. filter on my 55g so I just purchased a Aquael Unimax Pro 250 canister filter. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these filters? Any good, bad, or ugly would be helpful.

It is a wonderful filter, one of the quietest that I have ever run. Easy to prime (once you get beyond the polish translated instructions). Comes with all media and the UV light. Love mine!

I own a Unimax Pro 250. I agree with all the positive comments about this filter and it is absolutely silent.

Here's the BUT. I cannot find any replacement parts. I purchased from Foster Smith, but they do not have parts. When I turn off the power, my filter leaks. I suppose the gasket is bad, but I have only had the filter about a year. The manufacturer does not respond to emails. I consider this a risk to those considering purchasing a Unimax.
