Aqualife Complete, anyone use it (water conditioner)

It's a first for me also. I did dig around their websight and found this info at the sight where you can purchase it.

DIRECTIONS: To fully condition water for (1) new aquariums or ponds, (2) before, after or during water additions, or (2) before adding new fish, amphibians, or plants, add 1 teaspoon (~5mL) to AquaLife Complete" Water Conditioner per gallon of water. For larger applications use the following dose: 1 fl oz per 60 gallons of water. For nitrite removal, dose as directed, then test water for nitrite. If nitrite persists, add a second dose and test again

It seems they didn't bother to check their own directions sence 1 fl oz comes out to 30ml. That is to say the dosage should be 5 ml per 10 gallons and not one gallon. Personally I'll stick with prime.

never seen it before. never head anyone talking about it.

Thats mainly why I posted. My search here and also on a couple other forums found 0 posts with it in. The post that made me want to research it though was this:

Aqualife Complete does not alter pH. It is lab tested and new to the market. It has a patent unlike Prime. See there site. www.aqualifecomplete.com.
I have used Prime for years Since Leo started it in 1986 with Seachem and like the product. I know Complet does more fom healing and preventing disease. It also is epa safe for fish systems for fish for human consumption. Prime is not. It does a better job on chloramines and ammonia and I use it on over 100 tanks I take care fresh and salt. You should give it a try. I did and it has helped my fish and saved me in when I had a system crash. It is the same as using the Prime along with Safe by Seachem but all in one bottle. The alkalinity is needed to prevent dechlors from dropping pH. Have you ever heavey dosed prime in a gallon of water and checked it? I will give Prime my second place spot but that is all. Again see the info on the site aqualifesupport.com it is made by Aquarium Life Support Systems and they have been around for over 20 years

That was posted after I said this:

Same goes for the other way, you could just use Prime and not the Aqualife. I havent heard of this Aqualife, and checked every other fourm I belong to and no search revieled anything. prime is tested and true, and by far the first choice in every poll I have ever seen on forums I use. The only thing I see is that Aqualife seems to add alkalinity to the tank which most would not want thier water chemistry messed with, where as Prime does not change pH. I also dont read where prime 'removes' nitrate, not that nitrate is of concern much. They do mention it detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, with the primary concern being nitrite to most of us. I am sure the Aqualife is probably fine, just never heard of anyone using it yet and always weary of stuff that alters pH / alkalinity / etc.
