Niko, I've got blue T5's alongside my MH's. Would a moonlight produce a different type of light? Was looking at the Aqua Medic moonlight which is about £60.

a moonlight will give you a very similar blue, but, its designed to be a very soft light, like the moon ( funny that....lol...)

You can get a moonlight kit off ebay for a lot less than £60..

yea i would ebay it. the moon lights just look neat they don add any real advantages unless ur trying to get certain things to spawn.

I used to have my lights on 12 hours and off 12 hours, but then i got red slime algae and cut them back to 9 hours...turn on 12am and turn off 9pm via timer. Everything seems fine with that so far.
