Aquarium Stock Question

Any good centerpiece fish that does well with the mollies and the zebra danios that would work? Just a decent hardy centerpiece fish that is pretty.

You could go with a gourami.. either a dwarf or a honey gourami. They are very pretty. I have one in with my danios in my 20g long. He never messes with anyone, only to chase them away from the algae wafer when he wants a bite lol. If you get them, watch for signs of aggression though the first 24 hours or so in the tank... occasionally you can end up w/ one that is semi-aggressive. I had a neon blue one that killed neons, but this is not the normal experience for these type of fish and my other one is completely docile.

It depends on the size tank. Male gouramis, like betta males, will fight to the death if kept in too small a tank together. For your tank a male and a few females to divide his attention would be alright. However, it might be hard to find females, since they are paler in color and thus fish dealers prefer the colorful males. One gourami should be fine. http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_lalia.php

Ive heard that they like to nip smaller fish.. I don't want it killing anything!!! It's a 30 gallon tank with 8 zebra danios and 2 mollies
